Keystone has been in business for 28 years as of 2006! We have progressed through several MAJOR technologies changes, and brought all our customers with us. Early customers have gone from CP/M and Polymorphic in 1979 to MS-DOS in 1984 to Windows/XP in 2002! We keep abreast of technology to keep your investment secure for the future. We have been able to forge long-term relationships with our clients for mutual benefit and growth: Our clients keep on the leading edge and keep software costs to a minimum by not having to replace it every time their needs change or they want new technologies. Zillah Hauling, Inc., in Spokane, Washington, is an example of this relationship. Having bought the software ONCE in 1981, they have gone from a text-based product on a multiuser system with dumb, monochrome terminals, to their current networked Windows® system. All this without having to retype a single customer!

EXPERIENCE WITH 30 DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES GIVES KEYSTONE BUSINESS DEPTH

Keystone started business in 1978 solving software needs for a variety of local businesses. Each business was provided with custom-written programs to meet their unique needs. Our first client was a women's retail apparel chain, followed by a wholesale beauty supply distributor, and then a wholesale heating and air conditioning firm. During this time Keystone did programs  for over 30 local businesses: three different pension fund administrator firms, a lumber yard, two jewelry manufacturers, trucking companies, a cable TV service provider, music stores, gas stations, battery wholesalers, furniture stores, four soil testing labs, and farm equipment dealers.

Keystone would design each system from the ground up and deliver a complete system to meet their needs.  Through this varied background, Keystone developed management tools in our software to help run any business, not just trucking. This varied background gives Keystone the lead in the trucking industry. 

TRUCKING SPECIALISTS IN 1985

Keystone decided to make the transition from local software provider for all types of business, into a solution provider for a single vertical market,  the trucking industry, in 1985. With three solid trucking clients in the local market, Keystone hired its first full time trucking salesman. We have been providing solutions to this industry ever since.

Keystone Systems has been a "turn key" solution provider, including the software and hardware in one package. Recently, quality hardware has become readily available from local, regional and national suppliers. To continue to provide the best value to our clients, we have dropped out of the hardware business, but we still have the background and experience to support clients in configuring and trouble shooting hardware and software issues.
